Program:  Communication Campaign
Description:  To continue to develop on-going media campaigns on preventing problems, including injuries associated with alcohol and other drug use and problems related to alcohol as a risk factor in chronic disease. To develop a North Bay FOCUS web page to assist in sharing information on AOD issues, consequences and skill building practices. The web page appears to be very successful due to the positive feedback we've received. Also, it has been modelled as a template for other FOCUS community sites. to develop their site.

 Population
To reduce the proportion of adult women and men who consume alcohol at levels that places them at risk for AOD injuries, chronic disease, illness, or death.
To reduce the proportion of illicit drug use.
To reduce the proportion of licensed drivers that report driving after consuming at least 2 drinks in the previous hour.
To reduce the proportion of youth (12-19 year olds) who consume alcohol at least once a week.
To reduce the rate of alcohol-related injuries, chronic disease, illness, or death.
To support reduced consumption of alcohol and other drug abuse, and associated alcohol and drug use behaviour changes made by the intended audience(s).
